Easter Eating!

Any social event can be a challenge and Easter is no exception! Here are some tips to help you get through the Easter weekend without undoing all your hard work!

  • Plan what you are going to do! Make a plan. This could be sticking to your healthy eating plan for the whole weekend and nothing is going to get in your way. It could be you're going to relax the whole 4 days, accept the consequences and get back on track on Tuesday. Or, your plan could be somewhere in the middle.

  • Go for a family walk or 2!

  • Play a board game!

  • Ask family for (or buy yourself) a bunch of daffodils or tulips, they will last longer than the chocolate eggs!

  • Drink more water

  • Appreciate that it's all about spending time with your family or friends. It doesn't have to be all about the food! In months/years to come, you'll remember what a lovely fun Easter you had, not necessarily the food you ate!

Whatever you do, have fun and enjoy yourself! If it doesn't quite go to plan, get back on track next week. One indulgent weekend doesn't need to be an indulgent rest of the month! Happy Easter!
